Recently I was lucky enough to stumble upon my lastest startup love Levo League, a community of professional women looking to network, find mentors, and learn from others. I was sold while reading their purpose, but after seeing their upcoming "Office Hours with Warren Buffet" they would be streaming live, I knew they were serious about their mission.
I have never been one to complain about the role of women in the workplace and dwell on inequalities. I work in tech, and women are certainly rare, but i refuse to let the male dominate culture soften my opinion or work. That being said, I find great power and energy in connecting with successful women, learning from them, and hopefully imparting small wisdom on others. Warren is an advocate for women in the workplace. Even a recent article on CNN Money was titled, Warren Buffet is bullish... on Women. In his live Levo interview that aired yesterday he discusses everything from his mentor/mentee relationship with the late Katharine Graham, to the "fun house mirror" effect, to the importance of loving what you do everyday. While none of his comments strike me as particularly novel (for him), his tone and honesty with which he says them make them even more meaningful and relatable. Check out Caroline Ghosn's (founder of Levo League) interview with Warren Buffet here:

After learning about Morpholio last summer I was extremely impressed by their vision and technology implementation. I knew it would be an BIG success, and the recent press is proving me right. MyMorpholio currently has 2 apps, Morpholio and Trace. Morpholio has seemingly trumped all traditional portfolio apps by adding a feedback layer to the design process. With industry backgrounds rather than technology, the team seems to truly understand the psychology behind the design process. Their users are anyone from architects to tattoo artists due to their boundary and template free approach to sketching and designing. FastCoDesign's latest article on Morpholio put it best when they said: new(-ish) app aims to replicate studio culture on your iPad, minus the painfully long crit sessions and trails of presentation paper. Morpholio 2.0 condenses everything you remember from your old studio days (hopefully without the 4 a.m. sugar binges) and makes them portable for the first time. Check them out and you wont be sorry!
So today is the day! We are announcing the all new Weebly. Check out our blog post here to learn more. The team has been working tirelessly and I am so proud of the result. With a new site creator, mobile editor, site planner, and app you can easily Start Something for yourself today!
